Hi, I was wondering whether or not the original source of this image is in the public domain? If so, did you scan this from the original comic? I'm curious because I might be needing something like this for a small design project I'm working on (only, at a much higher resolution). Thanks! -Emily

Emily, though I couldn't tell you the exact source of this image (I scanned it years ago), it dates from a circa 1970 reprint of a circa 1960 Marvel comic. So, surely not public domain - though whether or not anyone would recognize a small detail from an old comic, lacking any copyrighted characters is another question.
